We are delighted to invite Friends, audiences and pianists to a very special dinner on Saturday 16 September at Leeds Civic Hall in celebration of 50 years of the Friends of the Competition.
The evening will commemorate the immense contribution of the Friends to the success of the Competition, and will mark ‘one year to go’ until the finals of the 2018 Competition!
Joining us to mark the occasion is the passionate amateur pianist and honorary Yorkshireman, Ed Balls, who will talk about discovering his love of the piano (and he may even treat us to a tune …).
Hosting the evening will be a firm Leeds-favourite, Petroc Trelawny, whose association with the Competition goes back many years.
Tickets are £75 which includes a sumptuous three-course dinner, pre-dinner reception, and entertainment throughout the evening (including some special guests and surprise performances!)
You can book tickets on our website.
