We at the Leeds International Piano Competition congratulate Gillian Moore, Director of Music at London’s South Bank Centre, on her appointment to Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2018. Gillian is a been a driving force in music, championing contemporary music, encouraging active participations, and pioneering inventive ways to open up the art form to a wide public. Gillian will be a member of the nine-strong international Jury at the Leeds International Piano Competition, 6-15 September.
